Team India!!!

Ganguly making it back to the Indian teams tells us how 'strong' the left is and how much influence politics has in India!

Says a lot about how much competence of a player is important for him to stay on the team! This reinstates the reason why I think just watching and investing time in the Indian cricket team is totally worthless and waste of our precious time.

And Parthiv patel too..
He doesnt deserve holding the glove or bat, after he single handedly helped SteveWaugh save his last test match, and dropped our chances of winning the Australian Series

well actually it was not the politics...it was infact his supporters....who went absurd and prtested everywhere which was obviously brought into the lime light and thanks to them he is in the team!!politicians helped the protests a bit.

Sid, Do you really believe that politics had no role to play in why he is back in the team? Do you really think that the 'Indian mass' has that 'loud a voice' & strength for BCCI to 'change their mind'?

Greenbay Packers (football team in the US) is owned by the city of Greenbay, WI. Everytime the team wins, the city wins. That's no way true for 'our' Indian team. They play for the BCCI, remember.

And for all those die-hard fans of Ganguli, don't you think your hero would have been more of one, had he not proved his mettle and gotten back on the team!!

I agree that there is politics involved in Ganguly's selection but is it not a disgraceful act to drop a player of his caliber just like that (thats again is politics)..diamond cuts diamond! He was dropped because of politics and is included again because of politics...simple!

hello there, remember it is only the left that puts us always in the right way and they are right when they said inflation is more important than something that is happening 50 years later.first save u r self.then u r grandson.
gangluy was india's greatest captain and no one can be better than him.he is not the same any more but he did score a lot of runs.until he fails he must be getting a good slot and he played well in the aussie test series too.i am not a big fan and i feel with u r idea of left u can see that ur not right.think abt the present and here the inflation is going to reach 12.it affects the common man.control that, not nuclear power which saves india after 50 yrs.live for the present.
