I think improving the world thingy is so damn complicated that we might start on a positive note but there is a good chance we might end up totally messed up.....

Neither annihilation nor subservience achieves improvement.

E.B. White wrote a lot of Children's books.

Infact E.B. White was also given the Pulitzer Prize. He's also seemed to have predicted NYC's 9/11 in one of his essays.
